    Everyone needs to adjust to both the environment and other people. Today, there are still many elementary school-aged children who still have difficulty adjusting to their school environment. There are several factors that affect adjustment in children, including: social, physical, emotional, and intellectual factors. This study aims to examine a case or problem regarding the adjustment of students with special needs (Subject X) in class V SD Negeri Bugel, Panjatan, Kulon Progo in more depth. This type of research is case study research with 2 teachers and 5 students as research subjects. Data collection techniques using observation and interviews. The result from the research was concluded that Subject X has not been able to make adjustments properly

    The background of this research is the completeness of mathematics scores in class VI SD Negeri Sendangsari in the 2023/2023 academic year is low. In the initial test results or initial observations, the completeness of students' math scores was 41%, or 7 out of 17 students completed. Based on the results of the initial test, the teacher implemented a teaching strategy to government guidelines on the Merdeka Belajar Program. The math teaching strategy is implemented by developing the principle of developing numeracy skills. This type of research is descriptive research with data collection methods, namely observation and documentation studies. Observations were carried out to determine the implementation of teaching strategies for elementary school mathematics, while documentation studies were conducted to obtain data on students' math scores. Data processing uses the percentage technique. The percentage technique was used to get the percentage of mathematics learning completeness of grade VI students of SD Negeri Sendangsari. The results of the study obtained in the final test, the percentage of completeness of students in grade VI SD Negeri Sendangsari in learning mathematics is 82% or 14 out of 17 students are complete (reaching KKM). The final test was carried out after the researcher finished observing teaching activities using math teaching strategies for grade VI students of Sendangsari State Elementary School

    Psikoedukasi Untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Ibu Dalam Pengasuhan Positif

    Perkembangan anak  yang optimal membutuhkan peran ibu dalam melakukan pengasuhan. Kondisi yang terjadi belum sepenuhnya setiap ibu memahami cara pengasuhan positif. Pendekatan dalam pengasuhan masih sebatas pada kebiasaan yang selama ini berjalan. Kebiasaan tersebut belum mencerminkan pengasuhan positif. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan edukasi peningkatan pemahaman dalam pengasuhan positif. Metode yang dilakukan adalah psikoedukasi melalui tripel P dengan ceramah dan diskusi tanya jawab. Peserta yang berpartisipasi sebanyak 11 orang ibu. Selama proses tersebut peserta aktif bertanya tentang materi yang disampaikan dan permasalahan yang dialami selama mengasuh anak. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat ini dapat meningkatkan pemahaman bagi para ibu agar memiliki pandangan yang lebih positif dalam mengasuh anak dan dapat diaplikasikan selama melakukan pengasuhan. Berdasarkan skor rerata diketahui terdapat peningkatan pemahaman setelah diberikan psikoedukasi

    PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS MASALAH DENGAN YOUTUBE TERHADAP MOTIVASI BELAJAR IPA PADA SISWA KELAS VI

    The purpose of this research is to find out how the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) strategy combined with YouTube videos might inspire students to study science. Six students in sixth grade at SD N Plampang in the 2022–2023 school year participated in the research. This study follows the Kemmis and Taggart framework of classroom action research (CAR). There were two cycles to this study, cycle I and cycle II, and each cycle included four phases: preparation, implementation, evaluation. Methods of information gathering include doing surveys, conducting interviews, and giving examinations. Prior to the study (Pre-Cycle), students' enthusiasm to learn about science was only 56 out of 100, but after the first cycle it rose to 88 (meeting adequate criterion) and after the second cycle it rose again to 110 (meeting strong requirements). There is also a rising trend in the evaluation of educational results with each iteration. The class average was 45.83 with a completeness rate of 16.67% before the cycle began; it was 60.83 with a completeness rate of 50.00% after the first cycle; and it was 75.83 with a completeness rate of 83.33% after the second cycle. This research reveals that combining PBL with material from YouTube for teaching science has a positive effect on students' interest and engagement. Project-based learning has the potential to provide students a more engaging and relevant educational experience

    This study aims to describe: (a) Difficulty in learning mathematics for fifth grade students, (b) Factors causing difficulty in learning mathematics for fifth grade students, (c) Efforts by teachers to overcome difficulties in learning mathematics for fifth graders. the average score of mathematics is still below the minimum completeness criteria (KKM). (d) The level of difficulty in learning mathematics experienced by grade V students. The type in this research is a type of qualitative research. Data collection methods used are observation and interview methods. The research results show that: (1) students have difficulty understanding concepts, have difficulty understanding the meaning of questions, and have difficulty solving problems, (2) The factors that cause students to experience difficulties in learning, namely attitudes and interest in learning mathematics are still low (3) The teacher's efforts to overcome the difficulties of learning mathematics by using media or visual aids that are appropriate to the material. It is hoped that teachers can overcome student learning difficulties. So that students' difficulties in learning mathematics are slightly resolved

    This research is an analysis of reading skills conducted on fourth-grade elementary school students. The purpose of this study was to analyze reading skills in elementary schools, factors causing reading difficulties, and ways to overcome reading difficulties in grade IV elementary school students. The method used in this study is a case study with a qualitative approach. The research subject was a student in class IV of elementary school. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, documentation, and tests. The results of this study is student R who should have entered the skills of reading comprehension but student R who is currently in grade IV has not mastered the skills of beginning reading. This is due to several factors, namely physiological factors, intellectual factors, environmental factors, and psychological factors. Steps that can be taken to solve this problem are to take an approach that focuses on the needs of students and uses appropriate learning methods that will help solving the problem of lack of reading ability and collaborate between teachers and parents to assist student in learning

    IMPLEMENTASI MEDIA POWERPOINT BERNARASI DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPA SD

    This study aims to describe the role of narrated powerpoint media in natural science elementary school learning. This study uses a quantitative approach with type of action research. The subjects in this study were fifth grade students of SD Negeri Karangasem. The object of this research is the role of powerpoint media implementation narration in learning natural science elementary school. Research begins with planning, action and observation, and reflection. The research is motivated by the lack of meeting the needs of students of learning media that attract students so that it influences the results learning especially natural science content. Students rarely learn to use media audio visual especially narrated powerpoint, previous learning done in a monotonous manner that makes students feel bored. The results of the overall research regarding the use of audio-visual media are in the form of narrative powerpoint can be applied well by teachers in learning, this is it can be seen from the increase in mastery of KKM from cycle I to cycle II as much as 18%. The number of students in the complete category in cycle II has shown progress and completeness of KKM which is better than the pre-action stage and cycle I
